Fujitsu figured that it’s annoying to many customers to know that they are getting into a never-ending cycle of computer upgrades. And their solution is called Lifebook4Life, a program that works as follow: You buy a Fujitsu LifeBook laptop and the 3-yr warranty to get into the program. From there Fujitsu will give you a new laptop that’s worth what you paid for yours plus 10%, to offset the inflation. Apparently, this deal is only good until March 2009, and is valid only in the UK. I encourage you to read the fine prints to see if you have to upgrade your computer (HDD, Memory) using Fujitsu’s store. It’s probably better to buy a fully-loaded machine in this case. A wheel is a wheel, right? Not if Michelin has anything to say about it - its Active Wheel comes with a built-in electric engine within, is touted to free up space in the front or rear of the vehicle. In addition, it also helps reduce the need for space hogs including transmissions and exhaust systems, and designers always love more room to work around with so that they can see jaws drop on the showfloor when their vehicle is unveiled for the first time. The inclusion of an electric engine within the wheel itself is said to lower the cost of electric vehicles if the idea catches on, and chances are pretty good you’ll also save money (and the environment) in the long run. Do you still have that streak of cheekiness in you despite being all grown up? Well, perhaps it is worth considering the £17.99 R/C Black Widow Spider. Definitely a hoot when you place this on someone who’s sleeping and is a known sufferer of arachnophobia, although you might have to perform CPR due to a heart attack after the prank. Created by London’s Natural History Museum for that added touch of authenticity, this 12″ long R/C Black Widow spider is able to creep in all directions or even spin itself around on a time, as long as it remains within a 30-foot radius of the remote control. Don’t worry, it doesn’t bite. (Read the full post about ‘R/C Black Widow Spider’…)
